This unusual bonnet is copied from a rather worse-for-wear extant original spotted on a UK auction site (see thumbnail photo, below.) In dark teal blue silk taffeta, the hat is trimmed with an extravagant velvet cabbage rose and vintage coral-colored velvet leaves, detailed with beaded edges. The "vines" are made from green silk cord. The inner brim in lined in olive brown silk taffeta. Ribbon ties are vintage velvet ribbon in a luxe antique gold. A wide base and tapered brim means one size fits most. Cotton drawstring lining.
