Returns/Shipping

 

Shocking Bad Hats cannot accept returns on custom made hats. In the rare event that a hat arrives damaged, or with an unsatisfactory defect, it will be repaired or I will re-make the same hat for you. In the case of a damaged or defective hat, I will assume responsibility for all shipping costs. Please get in touch with me immediately so that I may make things right as soon as possible. 

 Ready-made hats purchased from the website may be returned within a limited time frame. Please contact me as soon as possible if you need to return a hat. Returns must be sent back, unworn and in the same condition received, and safely packed in the original box, postmarked within 5 days of delivery (based on the tracking # sent with your order.) Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. A refund will be issued to your credit card or PayPal account when I have received the hat in good condition. 

Shipping is via Priority Mail from the United States Postal Service (USPS) and rates are calculated automatically according to the size and weight of the package. Large hats that require a box with any dimension larger than 12", as well as packages shipped to the West Coast, Canada the UK or Europe will incur higher shipping charges. If you have any questions about shipping or shipping charges, please contact me. In the event of an overcharge, a refund of the excess charge may be made.  I typically ship next day after receiving payment for a hat. For pre-orders, please note the anticipated delivery date on the listing page.
