Based on an extant bonnet in the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam, "Julia" is a wonderfully authentic-looking early Regency style. This magenta silk taffeta is actually a cross-weave of true red and bright blue that lends itself beautifully to self-fabric detailing of ruffles, pleats, and pinking. Finished with extra wide vintage moire ribbons. Sits on the back of the head and will fit most.
