Military style was all the fashion during the Napoleonic era, for both gentlemen and ladies. This bold shako features an unusual triangular top, a tall crown and narrow brim. In wide dark grey and tan striped taffeta, trimmed with metallic gold chain braid, metal twist cord, gold tassels and antique metal soutache around the brim and the top of the crown.
