A recreation from a fashion plate by the English artist John Bell in "La Belle Assemblee" for June, 1822, this spectacular evening or ball head dress is made up in a gorgeous deep rose pink silk taffeta that flatters every complexion! Trimmed with rows of vintage French metallic silver braid, laid over bands of piped, ivory figured silk, and lavished with ostrich plumes. Interior is half-lined with ivory figured silk at the top, with ivory linen at the bottom for comfort. Height including plumes is 13". Will fit headsize 22"-23".
